Too many other casual joints to give your money to. Aside from them not willing to post prices, the place is dirty (dare you to go in one of the bathrooms) and the service is VERY slow. In any case, I won't go back until/unless they post their prices. It makes me wonder (I have no evidence) if there is some kind of tax scheme going on or it's just laziness or what. These waitresses are liars! I'm REALLY curious why a food truck can post prices, expensive restaurants can print prices on their menus but a low-end diner with PAPER menus can't do it. I told her I had been coming to VI for many years and knew for a fact that the prices were on the old menus and on the white boards. Second waitress came to the phone and said they it was always that way and they didn't post prices for the sake of "tradition". I told her that five years ago, they posted prices but she got annoyed and put me on hold. She said prices change frequently and it had been that way for as long as she worked there.
